Steps to restore IMEI using SN Writer Tool
- Download and extract the SN Writer Tool on your computer.
- Download and install the MTK USB driver on your computer.
- Launch the SN Writer tool by clicking on “SN Writer.exe”.
- Click on the “ComPort” option and select “USB VCOM”.
- Click on “Target Type” and select “Smart Phone”.
- Click on “System Config”.
- Select “IMEI”, “BT Address”, and “WiFi Address” under the “Write Option” section.
- Select the MD1_DB and AP_DB files and then click on “Save”.
- Click on “Start” and input the IMEI number.
- Connect your device to the computer.
