UMT HST Tool is primarily designed to work with Huawei devices that are powered by Hi-Silicon SOC. It allows you to write the Huawei board and official firmware on your device, as well as perform various other operations such as flashing, unlocking, repairing, and removing the factory reset protection (FRP). It can also be used to reset screen locks and repair security items on your Huawei device.

Note: If you are working with test points it can be risky and can potentially damage your device. It is recommended that you have a good understanding of the process and follow the instructions carefully.
How to use UMT HST Tool
- Download and install UMT HST Tool on your computer.
- Install Huawei USB Driver on your computer to ensure that the tool can detect your device.
- To flash the stock ROM, open the tool and go to the COM 1.0 Flasher tab. Choose the stock ROM, either the Board or Official firmware, and connect your device to COM 1.0 Mode (test point). Click on Write to start the flashing process.
- To reset the FRP lock, open the tool and go to the Repair tab. Connect your device to COM 1.0 Mode (test point) and choose Reset FRP. Click on Execute to start the process.
- To backup the security data, open the tool and go to the Repair tab. Connect your device to COM 1.0 Mode (test point) and choose Backup Security. Click on Execute to start the backup process.
- To restore the security data, open the tool and go to the Repair tab. Connect your device to COM 1.0 Mode (test point) and choose Restore Security. Click on Execute to start the restore process.
