What is Oppo Stock ROM or Firmware?
Stock ROM, or firmware, is the original operating system version installed on a device by its manufacturer. It is an unmodified software package designed to restore a device to its factory settings.

How to Install Stock Firmware on Oppo Find X8
Follow these steps to install stock firmware using the OPLUS Tool:
Step 1:
- Download and install the latest version of QFIL on your computer.
- Download and install the latest USB driver on your computer.
- Download the stock firmware from the above links.
- Extract the downloaded firmware zip file using 7-Zip or WinRAR.
Step 2:
To enter BROM (Preloader Mode):
- Power off your device.
- Hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously.
- While holding the buttons, connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
- Your device should now be in BROM mode.
Note: If the device does not enter BROM mode, you may need to use the test point method (short specific hardware pins on the device).
Step 3:
- Open the Oplus Flash Tool on your computer.
- Click Select Package and locate the CPH2651.ofp file from the extracted folder.
Step 4:
- Click the Download button in Oplus Tool to begin flashing.
- The flashing process may take several minutes.
- Do not disconnect your device during this time.
- Once flashing is complete, disconnect the device from your computer.
- Power it on and set up your device.
