How to Use Xiaomi HyperOS Bootloader Bypass
Here’s how to unlock the bootloader on Xiaomi devices running Android 14 using Fastboot or ADB mode:
Step 1: Prepare Your Device
- Connect Your Phone to a PC
- Insert a SIM card with a working data connection into your phone.
- Connect your phone to the PC using a USB cable.
- Enable USB Debugging
- Go to Settings > About Phone, and tap Build Number (or MIUI Version) 7 times to activate Developer Options.
- Navigate to Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options, and enable USB Debugging.
- Allow OEM Unlock
- In Developer Options, enable OEM Unlocking.
- Set USB Configuration
- In Developer Options, set Default USB Configuration to File Transfer.
Step 2: Prepare for Bootloader Unlock
- Check Mi Unlock Status
- Open Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options > Mi Unlock Status.
- Sign in with your Mi Account (create one if needed).
- Download the Mi Unlock Tool
- Download the Xiaomi Unlock Bootloader Tool on your PC and extract it.
- Install APK Files
- In the extracted folder, locate the APK files for your Android version (e.g., Android 14).
- Copy these APKs to your phone and manually install them using the file manager.
Step 3: Bypass Debugging Restrictions
- Run the Bypass Command
- In the extracted folder, locate the php folder and run the bypass.cmd file.
- Allow USB debugging when prompted on your device.
- Recheck Mi Unlock Status
- Go back to Settings > Mi Unlock Status and re-add your Mi Account.
- Repeat the process if it fails until the bypass.cmd log shows success.
Step 4: Unlock the Bootloader
- Launch Mi Unlock Tool
- Close unnecessary applications and open the Mi Unlock Tool.
- Enter Fastboot Mode
- Turn off your device.
- Press and hold the Volume Down + Power Button simultaneously to boot into Fastboot Mode.
- Connect and Unlock
- Use the Mi Unlock Tool to detect your device in Fastboot Mode.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to unlock the bootloader.
Important Notes:
- Data Erasure: Unlocking the bootloader will erase all data on your device. Back up your important files before starting.
- Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is required during the process.
